South African Social Security releases funds to eligible individuals in order to assist those in need. A SASSA applicant can expect to receive their payment on a specific date. The first step in applying for SASSA is to identify the grant you qualify for and ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements. How to Check Your SRD 350 Grant Application Status
Moya App is a data-free messaging app that allows users to text, group chat, make voice calls, and video call for free. Additionally, the app allows users to check their SASSA application status, change their payment options, and appeal for reconsideration. Despite some people believing they can submit their SASSA application through the Moya App, SASSA has clarified that this is not the case.
The SASSA has outlined five channels for applicants to submit their SRD 350 grant applications. In addition to visiting the official SASSA website, submitting an application through the SASSA Whatsapp number (082 046 8553), using the USSD helpline number (0800 601 011), visiting the GovChat website, or submitting an application through the GovChat Facebook page, applicants can access the official SASSA website.
Application For The SASSA SRD 350 Grant
SASSA verifies applications within seven days. Check the application status by following these steps:
- Turn on your mobile data or WiFi and open the Moya App.
- The SASSA website will redirect you to the SASSA grant option.
- Scroll down to the SASSA SRD 350 check status button and click on “application status.”
- The ID number and cell phone number you provided when applying for the grant should be entered here.
- Click on the “submit” button to view your application status.
Your application will be approved soon, and you will begin receiving payments. The Moya App offers many features, but it cannot be used to submit SASSA applications. SASSA provides five channels for applicants to submit their applications.
How to Appeal for Your SASSA Application through the Moya App
SASSA will send you a letter explaining the reasons for the rejection and giving you the opportunity to appeal the decision within 3 months if your application is rejected. If you are having trouble submitting your application, you can now appeal it through the Moya app by following these instructions:
- Moya can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or from the link provided at the end of this article.
- Open the app and navigate to the “Reconsideration” option.
- Click on the yellow button that says “Click Here to Apply Online or Check Reconsideration.”
- Provide your ID number and phone number as requested.
- The SASSA will send you a pin code via SMS if you click on “Send Pin”.
- You must select the appropriate option based on the reason for SASSA’s rejection.
- SASSA will review and verify your appeal within one week. You will begin receiving payments as soon as your appeal is successful.
How to Change Your SASSA Banking Details through the Moya App
By following these simple steps, you can also change your SASSA banking details through the Moya App:
- Using your mobile phone number, download the Moya App and register.
- Click on the “Discover” tab.
- Choose “Money and Services” and then SASSA relief from the drop-down menu.
- Select the tab that says “Update Your Banking Details.”
- Please enter your ID and mobile phone number, and then click the link to update your banking information.
- Please follow the instructions provided to update your SASSA banking information.
